We were liars on Prime

That twist was right up there with The Visits “that’s not my parents”. Lots of cleavage too. It was a well done show. I couldn’t help but wonder if David Morse method acted the domineering patriarch like he did to intimidate LaBeouf in Disturbia.

Thought about starting this.
Any good? Looked like a tween drama

I thought it was good. Adult themes involved as well.

I thought it was pretty bad. Really nice scenery though.

In 2025? A better chance of seeing a fat hog tbh. There’s no more gratuitous nudity it seems. It has to serve a purpose now, otherwise it’s seen as “problematic.”

They all show entirely too many men’s asses in TV.
Pisses me off when I see a woman sleeping or having sex with a bra on. Women hate that shite and want to shed it asap. This is a cop out on the part of female actors and directors.

Porky’s is pretty far in the rear view mirror.

I'm enjoying it so far. 5 episodes in.
I know the story revolves around Cadence but, the grandfather is the best character in the show. David Morse is really good.
The 3 sisters are typical spoiled trust fund kids who never seem to be happy
Of course Hollywood can't help but throw in "white people bad".
But, lead chick has a nice rack.

I’m sure she’s 20+ but it’s a girl portraying a 16 YO.
The cheating mom though.
We haven’t finished it yet but I think Indian John Krasinski is the only moral person.

i'm not judging.
There was a thread a while back talking about me appreciating the underage boobs in Godfather and Romeo and Juliet when i was a teenager in the 90s. even though they were both underage at the time, they were my age and in their 30s when i saw them.
for some reason, 20 yo boobs/cleavage now kinda weird me out (especially when portraying a teenager.) they're the same age as my kids at this point. that would be like my dad commenting on Tiffani Amber Thiessen or Danielle Fischel in their later years when I was a teenager.

Just finished. A decent twist and amazing use of my favorite “Sleeping at Last” song. Haunting in its own right but great use of Saturn.
With three episodes left I wrote my spoiler on a notecard. I was 80% right. I guessed what came of the liars and what they were in Summer 17 but missed at how they got there.
Decent for teenybopper fare.

Finished it last night. Enjoyed the show and it went just as long as it should have. instead of dragging on for season after season with no resolution.
I thought they did a good job of hiding the twist. Maybe I just didn't see it.
Some of the most miserable rich people ever. Rich chicks banging the help.
The grandpa nailed it. Entitled kid did something stupid and others paid the price.
All this because racism/white guilt?

i miss the late 80's and 90's the golden age of gratuitous and smoking
kinda surprised they didn't drop a nude scene into 'goonies"

I liked it enough to finish it, I also hated just about all the main characters. I don’t know if that’s what they were going for but they were just so unlikable. If someone wants to watch a bunch of spoiled rich kids and their parents act like douchebags then this is the show for them.

Just finished it, thought it was pretty good. The actress that played Mirren is Ewan McGregor's daughter. Once I saw that, I couldn't unsee it.
I try not to figure out twists, but I genuinely didn't see this one coming.
