I don't understand why the chief muckety muck wasn't taken out when we knew where he was hiding. The world and Middle East would have been safer for everyone. Meanwhile, the terror attacks and funding continues. Should have cut off the head of the snake while the opportunity was there.

Not true at all. It’s not quite so very simple.

There is an article out today that says Israel wanted to but he went into some bunker.. hidden and very deep. They could not get to him.

They pretty much killed their targets at will so I suspect he was hidden.. they had been planning this for years … they did not randomly blow stuff up but took control of the skies and then removed not just equipment but key people to make the regime and nuclear future development unstable ..
they have some articles describing how meticulous and planned this event was..

imo .. we did not know

Somebody, somewhere told us Iran's proxies tapped out.

Our priorities are America. Dabbling in the politics by killing a leader in a foreign country that hasn’t openly declared or acted offensively against us would hinder the rebuilding of our Republic. Trump only has until 2028.

That being said, Israel can handle that if they want and the guy is 86. He’s likely on borrowed time.

Meaning he would have gone into hiding as a result of their surprise actions/attacks. Thus he wasn’t in hiding when Israel would’ve first started targeting him. There are obvious reasons why Israel would have intentionally elected not to take him out at the time (and even now), if y’all would take the time to consider it.

Yes, regime changes are the forte of the USA, and our track record of doing it is impeccable. Let's keep doing it because it never ever backfires

I wonder though. With this Houthis attack on Israel, does Israel blame Iran for breaking the ceasefire? Does Iran successfully claim deniability?

There is no doubt the Jews know where that dude is 24/7/365. They could probably take him out whenever they want. They, reportedly, wanted to this time, but Donald squashed the plan.

It just depends on how Israel (and the US) choose to play it.

This bombing of the facilities is all for nothing if there is no regime change. Got to take out the mullahs.

Nah. If the Jews want regime change, they can lead the charge.

I agree with the other poster, he is old as dirt. Let him die soon and see what replacement is and if he will finally learn to stop fricking with people.

Some say that most of the population isn’t actually Islamic but you take out their spiritual leader is definitely motivating that entire population into a frenzy. Not worth it for someone on his way out anyways.

Iran hasn't openly declared or acted offensively against us? Really? You really believe that?

I think he’s more useful left alive. They can obviously kill everyone under him. They can kill him if they wanted. But it’s more degrading to the regime if he looks as if he’s got special treatment while his generals are taken out. He will appear more clownish as time goes on and his own people might taken him out. I think letting him live is part of psychological warfare

Somebody somewhere said not to fight Israel wars. Who are they at war with then?

Somebody somewhere would also say Israel has been committing a genocide against these proxies.

Someone, probably you, cried when the US hit some houthis, another Iran proxy.

If you didn’t notice they weakened their proxies then they attacked Iran.
