The Dems remind me of Dick Dastardly and Muttley from that cartoon so much lol. If you are younger and never watched Wacky Races then you need to pull it up and stream it sometime. As hard as the Dems scheme to take Trump out it just seems like it always backfires on them and Trump rolls on for the win.

I’m a 70s kid, but I vaguely remember that cartoon, I guess from re-runs. Sounds like Wyle E. Coyote would be a good comparison, too.

Hanna Barbera, right? Seems like our cartoons were everything EXCEPT Disney in the 70s. Disney had a weekly show, but it was always one of their live action movies. To this day, the only Disney animation I’ve ever seen is Lion King, when I had to babysit a niece and nephew once.

I was born in the 70’s myself. I used to watch re-runs of it all the time when I was a kid. It was a Hanna-Barbera cartoon.

I do. Yeah that Muttley, what an actor! He also had this really wicked laugh/snicker that made me laugh every time.

I have heard of the The Great Race and knew that Wacky Races was based on that movie. Believe it or not though I have never watched that movie.

I feel sorry for kids nowadays. We had some great cartoons growing up. Today what few you can find are terrible.

The fact the narrator sounds so much like an actual racing announcer makes it so much better

You actually get kind of excited to watch a cartoon race

Good cartoons ended in the mid 90s when the Karens went after Nickelodeon

I grew up watching Ren and Stimpy and Rockos modern life. Those were borderline not suitable for kids

I'm certainly old enough but I honestly don't remember them. Maybe because I was more into the westerns; Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, My Friend Flika and The Lone Ranger.
