Which one of you were the one that got hit by the semi while working on a traffic light?

Is that not bucket truck guy’s fault? You’d think there would be a minimum level of clearance you’d have to have or otherwise you’d have to shut the lane down or something. Doesn’t seem like the semi’s at fault to me but I’d be interested to hear if I’m wrong.

Very negligent to not shut down that lane. That's such a horrible on/off ramp area there. Impossible to do much of anything in that area due to traffic usually backed up through all the lights. At least they followed protocol on the safety belt.

Truck driver is stupid but the work detail should have had cones and a person directing traffic into the turn lane then move back over after clearing the bucket.

It is the bucket guy's fault. They did not close the lane, just have a guy standing on the side of the road pointing to cars to move over. If you're in a turning lane and the lane is open, you go to turn, you cannot just merge.

And that intersection? Is horrible. Ridiculous configuration,voluminous traffic,crazy drivers. One of the worst in the area. People drive west to Oneal to avoid it. If there is anywhere they should have closed the lane, that was it.
