took it and the symptoms went away on their own. Whether it be mental, physical, or terminal.

I'm curious because I'm very skeptical of the AMA and pharmaceutical industry. I don't take prescription meds, but I know there will be a day when the doc says .....or else.

It’s already affecting your speech and typing. Take your meds, son.

I have Crohns and haven’t taken Humira in almost 4 years. I’ve actually improved since I stopped taking it.

Nobody is forcing you and based on this thread. We should all highly encourage you to avoid all medication.

Reality is everyone says this until they have a real scare and they are quick to take their meds. But I'm sure you will be different

I’d never taken them until I had hip replacement and back surgery, I wasn’t going to but I had to that hurt so bad.

I weened off pretty quickly though, I have enough vices…

Why would you get pills and not take them?

My grandfather had high blood pressure and the doctor gave him an rx, but he didn't want to take "drugs", refused take novocaine at the dentist.
So in his mid 50s he started jogging, and at 65 he qualified for the Boston Marathon, no more high blood pressure.

I stated I wasn't taking meds because I wanted to make clear I wasn't looking for a reason to get off anything.

You'll probably get over a strep throat (although it has and does kill people). I happen to think getting over it in a few days with antibiotics is better than getting over it in two weeks without. But you do you dawg.

Thanks for sharing. This is an example of what I was asking about.

Some make a simple question very difficult.

Basically regression to the mean.

But unless there's a downside to the medicine why not take it?
