Slot values associated with those corresponding picks in the draft for those interested - this doesnt mean they get drafted around there they get this much, just shows the slot value. They can sign for well above or below the slot value.

Any intel on if some of those recruits listed might make it to campus?

Cowan coming back?
Not being listed doesnt mean they are definitely back, this is just Top 250. We have guys who could still sign for a few hundred grand outside of this.
Guys like Cowan, Stanfield will have tough choices to make considering they lose all leverage coming back. If the offers arent decent enough, might as well stay another year in college, but if they just want to move on and want as much money as they'll get, best to go now.

Anybodys guess. Most kids arent in a position to balk at $1M.

I'm not saying we get any or even 1 guy who gets a 7 figure offer but we've certainly landed a few of these guys over the last several years.
For guys like that (Schmidt) it's about how much do they want to do the college experience and/or they believe they can maintain or even improve their draft position.
$1M is a lot of money but if you think 2-3 years in college can get you to $2M-$3M-$7M, then bet on yourself as well. There's plenty of examples both ways of guys betting on themselves passing up 7 figure or near 7 figure offers and rising near the top (Crews) or not exactly probably getting back to even close to where they were (Cam Johnson)

Its not that simple. Schmidt is getting absolutely nowhere close to what he was getting offered to sign out of high school in NIL here. He just wanted the college experience and probably didnt think he would lose much if any draft position later on in doing so.

I know odds are slim to none, but i hope Frey comes back.

Jones has no chance to come back. He would lose leverage.
Shores could snuff at $1 million and bank on himself and make a jump into the first round and triple that number. I think if he gets $1 million he probably goes.

Feels like with NIL these are the type of tweeners we can convince to come back $$$

$1 Million isn't what it used to be. After tax and agent fees, it's a good start on a retirement portfolio, but it isn't enough to live on for very long.
I'd tell these players to enjoy 3 years of LSU, and get the same or better later.
Playing in the minors sucks. Playing at LSU is the BEST!

I would love to get Cowan, Mayers, and Stanfield back but wouldn’t even be mad if they left. Hopefully if they do leave, they get paid well.

Not sure if this list of 2025 commits is current, but four other guys on that list are in the top 250:
Briggs McKenzie is #69 (nice)
William Patrick is #90
Marcos Paz is #103
Landon Hodge is #164

At least four or five of those recruits, maybe more, will make it to campus. I've never been more sure of anything in my life.

We will not get 5 of the recruits listed in his post to campus.
