I like Queen and I like Fears. If we’d gotten that done while shelling out a top 10, or even top 5 protected 1st I’d be pleased with the night. That we gave up an unprotected 1st is what makes this infuriating

I agree completely. But if, and I know that’s a big if, they don’t end up with a top 10 pick, then it would be considered a good trade. The assumption that it’s a guaranteed top 5 pick is purely pessimistic, especially after landing pick #7 after such a bad year.
