Anyone have an idea who will be the top teams in select and non select and each division? Also any real good games that anyone knows to go and watch?

Catholic High BR

Wouldn't even win the non-select. It took LHSAA breaking up things up to even make it to where they would win a state championship in football.

Catholic High beat the non-select champion last year 35-17 and the game wasn't that close.

Karr is and will always be loaded. It’s an all star team with the most talent in the state every year.

Meh every other Catholic League school has access to that talent…and when you have all that talent they cant all play…they might be loaded but things can be fickle. Who thought Landry Walker would get irrelevant shortly after their title? They were just as loaded as Karr.

Look at their history. This isn’t a flash in the pan 1 off team that had 18 recruits in a single year like Landry Walker that season. Karr has been there for a long time and as long as they can choose to go…they’re not going anywhere. They have an outstanding staff as well. They’re the best program in the state and it’s not really close honestly.

Should be interesting to see how West Monroe's new head coach does. He has the most resources in Louisiana but is the talent there?

Everything was built for this year. We played a ridiculous schedule last year with 9 total road games. We travel twice this year to Pineville and Ruston. Very senior laden team as well. We’ve been seeing 180-192 kids every day in workouts 9-12. Doing everything we can to get them ready.

Catholic, STM, and Ruston have to at least be in the conversation

Seniors or total? Legitimately I feel we have double digit college players on the team. I would say 11-12, so not 20+ or anything. I've seen every state champion team from WM. We have more talent than a lot of those teams with pictures on the wall.
