Main Card (ESPN+ PPV at 10 p.m. ET)
Ilia Topuria vs. Charles Oliveira
Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Kara-France
Brandon Royval vs. Joshua Van
Beneil Dariush vs. Renato Moicano
Payton Talbott vs. Felipe Lima
Preliminary Card (ESPN/ESPN+/Disney+ at 8 p.m. ET)
Jack Hermansson vs. Gregory Rodrigues
Hyder Amil vs. Jose Miguel Delgado
Viviane Araujo vs. Tracy Cortez
Terrance McKinney vs. Viacheslav Borshchev
Early Prelims (ESPN+/Disney+ at 6:30 p.m. ET)
Sedriques Dumas vs. Jackson McVey
Jhonata Diniz vs. Alvin Hines
Niko Price vs. Jacobe Smith
definitely not the most stacked IFW card... but there are some good matchups. I think what has been missing with the matchmaking and UFC in general is the young guns just arent producing at a high level. But there is one name on this card that has a huge opportunity in front of them... and that is Joshua Van. Very tough matchup and a huge step up against Royval but if he can win in impressive fashion he could easily be next in line at 125. 4 fight win streak, coming off a KO and coming in on short notice. Big opportunity for him.
I like the dariush moicano matchup and it should be a good fight but both guys are just journeymen at this point and a win by either does nothing to move the division forward
IMO hermansson and robocop should be starting off the main card over gayton talbott. Hopefully felipe lima puts it on him.
KKF vs pantoja should be a good fight. I expect pantoja to walk thru him but kkf can bang and has a punchers chance.
topuria vs charles should be a good one. If topuria can beat charles I will be highly impressed. dude definitely has some power but I am interested to see the size difference in the cage. I dont think this is the same charles as a few years ago but the dude is still dangerous.

KKF looks like a gremlin.
I mean just like a gremlin.

I’m in on Topuria. He talks a lot of shite, so he has to back it up. Most recently he said he will end it in 1 rd

I'm really looking forward to this card, but I personally love the Flyweight division.
I was looking forward to Kappe/ Royval, but love that Joshua Van is taking this fight...dude just fought three weeks ago when he beat the hell out of Bruno Silva. Crazy.

LFG Charles!
One of my all time favorite fighters. Can't wait for this one.
One of the most underrated fighters in UFC history imo. Dude has always been gracious in winning and even more gracious in defeat and has a bad arse all around fighting style but for some reason the fans never are on his side. Doesn't matter who he's fighting. Drives me nuts

Yeah man I don’t know who couldn’t like Charles. One of the baddest men to ever walk in the cage. That chute box team has put out some bad mfers.

I love Do Bronx myself but im thinking about putting down some solid coin on Topuria. Dude just has the type of power you cant teach. I'd hate to have to root against charles though
KKF is getting fricked up

Better put money on Ilia by KO/TKO bc him just winning is -500.

Godamn. For those odds its worth taking a shot on Charles

I wanna watch this but Im struggling to justify the cost for that card. Blockbuster main event and an assload of little guys who 80% will go to decision.
Lopez/Silva at Noche is gonna be an absolute banger. Hopefully the rest of the card won't be arse.

Am i reading this right? Noche is going to be a free card in San Antonio in September and not a PPV?

It should’ve been Lopez vs Yair. That fight sells itself with the bad blood between the 2. I hope ufc doesn’t give Yair another title shot.

Yeah the original card was going to be a pov in a new arena in Mexico but construction was delayed and they moved it to San Antonio and turned it into a fight night.
And yes Yair doesn’t deserve a title fight for sure. But thats what the ufc seems to want to do for some reason. Look at this card Charles is 2-2 in his last 4, kkf 2-2 in his last 4.for whatever reason the young fighters can’t get on a run and the ones that do they cut or pass over for a shot.
How is evloev not guaranteed a title shot. The dude beat aljo Arnold Allen and lopes in his last 3 and is undefeated with 9 wins in the ufc. Yair got 1 win against a finished bellator bum and lost his previous 2 fights, 1 of them getting ko by volk himself. He also lost to Ortega which was Ortega only win since 2020. How is he even in the conversation? And it’s not even like an exciting ko over pitbull.

Moved up 10 lbs and still looked shredded when cutting.

Yeah but he is the same size as a small 125er

Death. Taxes. Pantoja.... Hilarious he is tied at #9 on the UFC P4P rankings.
I'm pulling for Van, love that dude's attitude.
I would love to see Oliveira win but as long as we get a finish, I am happy.
