He needs to be the highest paid coach in America by July.
Tony V makes nearly double. Jay has double the championships. And is only 2 years older.

He’ll get a raise, it’s the natural cycle. Every time a big name coach switches jobs or wins a championship, they reset the market more or less. He might not be the highest paid, but he’ll get his bump

They should just put a clause in that automatically ups his pay when someone gets paid more than him. That's inflation but guess what, he deserves it.

This article from March of this year says Jay is the 5th highest paid in the country

He is making 1.8 , I think... .. he strikes me as the type that will ask for a small raise for himself, but a large raise for his NIL budget

Considering that the NIL budget was the 5 or 6th best in the SEC this year I am sure he will ask for that to be increased
