And will not return to training. Sad day for racing. I just saw him last Saturday at Churchill.

Went to hospital to get pacemaker fixed and got MRSA from what I heard. Not good.

karma for all of the 3 year olds who didnt have talent , that he ran to their graves.

my favorite was at Delaware, his horse comes back limping, he runs it for a bullet 3 days later, then enters it 4 days later and at the half mile pole, it fell into a pile of flesh and bones. Even the bettors were like what the frick, that horse came back sore and limping, why would u run a bullet and then within a week, run him again.

Guy is and has always been a piece of shite, may karma and the afterlife, remind him of his sins.

USA Today said he declined an aggressive treatment plan and will go into hospice at home.

Growing up in So Cal I remember him training quarter horses at Los Alamitos. One of the top trainers, was only a matter of time til he moved up the the big show.

He was the trainer for 2 of the horses I participated in with the Churchill Downs Racing Club, Raggedy Annie and Appraisal. Was fortunate to be at Oaklawn to watch Appraisal win and get to go to the winner’s circle with him. Great guy-RIP Coach.
