Phoenix had to reset. Beal contract is killer, but they need some sort of hope going forward.
Trade makes sense for both teams, but not sure how Phoenix didn’t at least get Jabari back.

I think it’s a relatively balanced trade with Houston as the winner

If Houston can get 3 years out of him, they did well. Green is a big nothing burger.

quote:Absolutely not. The Rockets would have gotten better if they simply cut Jalen Green because he’s so inefficient. But to replace him with an efficient scorer like Durant? And Brooks is whatever. He’s okay, but not integral to the team.
Rockets just got worse lol
In no way did they get worse. Their defense is elite, but they lacked any reliable scoring punch. Getting Durant, even at his age, without giving up any important players or picks is a big win for the Rockets.

Not sure what to think about this but keeping Sengun and Amen is huge

Dude how can they give up five second round picks !!!!

Rockets also didn’t have a guy to go to in crunch time, and now they do. Think they’re definitely the winner here.

Durant has proven he cannot win anything of value without Curry. Everybody dumps on Harden, but without Curry, Durant is in the same boat.
He is massive sensitive turd who is a terrible leader. This trade will set the Rockets back several years. In 2 years, we will be talking about a Durant retiring or being traded again.

In what world does this set the rockets back several years? No Dillon Brooks or Jalen Green sets you back several years??

They could’ve just moved on from green and got younger. Durant is a loser. This trade doesn’t get them any closer to a chip.

How pissed is the NBA that this is getting leaked hours before Game 7? Honestly, screw the NBA. They get what they deserve.
