They always say in football to beware of a team "beating you twice". Basically you take a tough loss and then your team is so deflated that you play flat the next week and lose again.

These guys had that same look. Having just lost their first game since April they looked completely gutted like they already lost the championship. I think they come out flat tomorrow and we rock them something like 9-1.

They did not look like a team prepared to handle adversity. When everything's been breaking your way for 2 months you sort of start to think that it'll continue on indefinitely. Tonight Kade Anderson just reminded them they're mortal.......

....and I saw fear in their eyes.

That and the crowd in the top of the 9th had to be intimidating.

Geaux Tigers!!!

They had two plays go their way.

Ump at first blocked mis throw. Cost LSU a run

Hit by pitch was Ball four but called out.

They looked like they had been beat at their own game. They are broken.

It's pretty deflating to have the win streak they do, make 1 mistake in the entire game, watch LSU give you opportunities every inning, and still get dominated by their pitching. I guess they would look shocked.

I expect to see CC play hard tomorrow. They will come out desperate swinging. Eyanson matches up well with his high whiff rates on his curve. They absolutely could not see Anderson's curve today. He didn't even have his best stuff and still dominated them.

We need Eyanson to be an alpha on the mound tomorrow with his best day pitching. Bats need to help the pitching. The swings today were pathetic outside Milam. MVP was Anderson and Milam.

Really three plays. Milam’s wall-banger was 2-3 inches away from being gone.

You’re right. They don’t know what to do. They thought they were unbeatable and we came in and beat them and they are in disbelief. Knowing that have to play the team that finally beat them, again tomorrow, has them mentally shaken.

I’m thinking they couldn’t fathom this type of LSU fan support on the road. That can rattle a player.

He kinda threw shade at LSU for letting Kade throw 130 pitches in his postgame. At least that’s how I took it. Discussing trying to get pitch count up, which they did a good job of early but had a couple quick innings late. Said “they let him throw 130 pitches so maybe it wouldn’t have mattered anyway”.

I’d throw Braswell in there for his outstanding glove play.

An efficient inning in my book is 15 pitches and less. KA was under that, he gave us the best chance to win and this is the CWS. Not sure what his gripe is.
