It's not for everyone, but I recently did. Even flew out of state to go pick her up. She comes from a solid, generational, healthy bloodline. And that was important to me.
Full AKC registered. But I really don't care about that. I just want her to remain healthy. For as long as she can. She will give me as good of a life as I will give to her.
Little for now. Won't be little for much longer.

My wife breeds Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Puppies start at 4K and she'll take your application, vet you for qualification, and put you on a waiting list.

Ones that can afford it to ensure they get exactly what they want and can see and meet the parents of the dog to get idea of their behavior and characteristics…don’t hate because you a poor and can’t afford it!
Our breeder trained our dog as a baby with load noises and kids in the house, he can chill outside while shooting fireworks right by him, is perfect with kids, smart as shite.

Generally, I agree. Especially with items that depreciate in value.
This is different. There is an emotional bond that is built for many years, and for some people, you can't put a price tag on that, especially when you factor in joy, fulfillment, trust, and bonding.
