The Dodgers have donated $1 million to assist families impacted by two weeks of immigration raids in Southern California.
The defending World Series champion Dodgers also said Friday that they intend to form partnerships with the California Community Foundation, the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor and other organizations to continue providing aid to immigrant families.
"What's happening in Los Angeles has reverberated among thousands upon thousands of people, and we have heard the calls for us to take a leading role on behalf of those affected," Dodgers president Stan Kasten said. "We believe that by committing resources and taking action, we will continue to support and uplift the communities of Greater Los Angeles."
The Dodgers announced the steps in a five-paragraph news release that was delicately worded to avoid potentially inflammatory political terms, and which stopped short of an explicit condemnation of the federal policy. The team said only that the financial aid would be provided "for families of immigrants impacted by recent events in the region."

Do they let people attend games without a ticket or do they control entry to the stadium?
If you sneak in, do they let you stay or do they throw your arse out?

Chump change PR move to appease the fanbase. Not shocking at all.

Instead of using common sense and humanity to deal with this issue, we allowed it to be politicized. As a result we see two extremes which are equally as bad.

Chavez ravine was originally a low income Mexican community. The FHA duped them into an eminent domain program promising modern housing projects and then gave the land to LA to build Dodger Stadium.
If the Dodgers really wanted to help these poor illegal immigrants they would give them their land back.

so the Los Angeles Dodgers fully support and are committing one million dollars to help fund the illegal invasion of America.
it's not "immigration" like they are desperately trying to lie and glam it up as... just call it what it is.

Did you know that Starbucks bought out Teavana?
Teavana was my go to for fresh teas. It was one of a kind of where the tea leaves were kept in canisters and regulated by temperature control. It stays fresh and you could even smell the tea leaves when you were allowed to take a whiff when the worker would open the lid to let you take a whiff before you decide to buy portion the tea leaves from the canister. My favorite one is the green leaves called Gyokuro Imperial. I have not been able to find another place like that. It was not cheap either. I now drink coffee but must be fresh and roasted light. I never will buy from overrated Starbucks. I focus on health than taste every time. You can get the taste of the coffee if it was roasted light and brew it right.

They got flak for telling the singer to stick to the regular National Anthem and now they’re going out of their way to deter ICE. fricking hilarious.
