Are we back to the part of the summer where everyone defends Zion beforehe shits the bed again? I love this part of the year. Clowns.

He isn’t just any player on the team bro

You act like this is Naji Marshall (I know he’s gone) or Jose Alvarado and he’s conquering the odds by even being in the league

This dude was supposed to be the best prospect since Lebron

Yes, Griff messed up with some moves, but this team has had a mix of quality vets and good young players on the team during these 6 years and Z has been the only one to not pull his weight and role as the franchise player. This is proven when our disposable role players move on and go contribute to very meaningful winning basketball on other teams, with reliable, non shithead stars.

Zion has been enemy number 1 to this franchise for the past 6 years. He’s been the worst franchise player New Orleans basketball has ever had and that’s before you start comparing him to his contemporaries around the league. He’s better than what Washington, Brooklyn and the Bulls have and that’s about it. He’s currently maybe on par with Lauri Markannan as a franchise leader and Lauri is technically an overachiever on a team that doesn’t try to win.

Zion is that smoking hot dime in high school that everyone was chasing and no one was never going to get with.

The ultimate tease. Fans who still think Zion is going to reach his potential should just jerk off and go to bed. It’s getting sad to watch their dreams crushed.

The roster just doesn't fit with him. That's all. Give us another 6 years and maybe they'll find a couple guys that fit.

Zion

Drafted by Pelicans in 2019

SIX seasons later he has played a GRAND TOTAL of 214 games.

He was drafted at the age of 19 and is now 24, the healthiest years of an athletes life.

It’s all downhill from here.

Anthony Davis was 216-250 as a Pelican.

Brandon Ingram was 149-156.

Jrue Holiday was 197-218.

So he’s played in 44% of games since he’s been in NOLA

anyone wanna take a stab at the percentage of games he plays after, say, 2 years with his next team?

Over 75%?

Fat slob is a bust. Either does not give a sh-t or has big time maturity and/or cognitive issues. We barely have a winning record in the 25% of games he decides to even show up for. Bust.
