Typical Pels draft rumors

Ace Bailey stock dropping, Pels looking to mortgage the farm to move up and take him. The red flags on this guy are everywhere, why would you consider moving up to draft a guy that may fall to you?

I’d be open to moving up a spot or two if he’s still there during the draft. Moving up into the top 3 just seems like it would cost too much

Most likely it’s just Morey from the sixers sending out smokescreens trying to get another team to bite and move up

Fischer put out a report that our interest in him was greatly overstated.

Yeah the latest reports are that we really aren't that interested.
Take everything with a grain of salt
I do think they like Maluach however

Anthony Edward's said he didn't even like basketball that much in pre draft interviews and hes a top 10 player in the league.
Not worried about pre draft shite like this like I used to be

But is it overstated in the sense that we wouldn’t trade all the way up to 3 for him. And not that we wouldn’t take him at 7?

Can’t pinpoint why but he just doesn’t excite me. I’d rather Fears, Bailey and Johnson over him.

He's fine but he's very very very safe.
I think they need to swing for the fences personally

He said we weren’t actively trying to climb the lottery ladder with Bailey in mind.
If he drops to 7, I think that would be too much value for me to pass up.

Not gonna lie. I have not watched enough games or highlights to really give super educated takes on most of these guys. I've seen Maluach and Kon play several times but other than that this is probably the least knowledgeable I have been in a long time over the NBA draft.
The little I have seen of Fears I really like him but I think he is gone at 5.
Essengue seems intriguing for a swing for the fences pick but I am going with what others have said

Apparently Bailey's agent is telling people he only wants to play in the Northeast and that is it, no one else should bother.

To be frank, I hope this is all true and we can use it to our advantage. If Brooklyn is the target and the feeling is mutual, we need to force a trade. If Bailey is there at 7, I would threaten to take him or see if a team like Toronto is interested in moving up. Brooklyn has 3 picks in this draft and I'm sure they won't mind giving up a pick to get their guy.

They must be angling to get to the Wizards if that’s true. His camp mentioned Bailey wanted a clear path to stardom, and Wizards don’t really have a “face of the franchise” type of player.
Edited to add Brooklyn. They for sure fit as well.

Also rumored to be telling people he wants to start Game 1 or don't consider picking him. Ace evidently does not sit on the bench. Agent says Bailey is a top 3 prospect who is willing to go at a later pick just to find the right team. Another rumor says they are asking for cash just to do interviews and workouts. Its hard to believe what true.
Ace Bailey's agent is Omar Cooper of Lifestyle Sports whose only other NBA client - Issac Okoro - just dumped them before signing his rookie extension. Cooper started the agency to manage his son's Sharife's career but he only lasted a year in the Hawk's D league.
It's very possible all of this is due to Ace having VERY poor representation.

Can you imagine being a top prospect and signing with this dude who has no other clients?
Bailey is a grade a retard. Shaedon Sharpe level stupid. No thanks. I have more respect for Klutch than this shite show agency.

If Bailey is there at 7 I really wonder what Dumars will do. He talks about wanting high character people and getting the “right” people in the building. If he takes Bailey that kinda goes against everything he’s preaching
