Who are some of the state high school football players you feel like are underrated ?

I'm sure there's a DB in Shreveport somewhere committed to Houston or Oklahoma State that will make it to the NFL and we'll all ask why we didn't offer.

I actually think Isaiah Washington and Dez Ellis are pretty underrated, both are freakish athletes. Buddy watched Dez Ellis the entire year last year since he went to the same high school, kid is legit.
Also Julian Burns, he is a great tackler.
Darryus McKinley seems underrated, we shall see this upcoming season.

Destrehan QB Jackson Fields, wouldn’t be surprised if he climbs the boards and ends up at LSU late in the cycle, especially with Bentley to OU

Trez Davis prior to the past week. 0 stars and unranked. Now #10 in Louisiana and a 4 star. Thousand yard receiver last year at WM, which doesn’t happen. 6’ 185 and his regional triple jump would’ve had him either first or second at State. Still finished 4th in D1. His Dad played at Tech and the Saints. Committed to Tulane last week, roughly 10 minutes prior to the reranking.
I see him daily and he’s gone to another level. The senior switch has definitely been flipped. He grew up in Lutcher, so no he’s not 19.

Jackson Fields has very good arm strength and accuracy but not sure about his mobility.
Franklinton QB Jacob Crain is the best QB in the state for 26. Elite accuracy and throws well on the run. Not fast but somewhat elusive. By year 2 he'll be a starter somewhere.

Yeah I saw, we’ll see if he stays committed there. I think he’ll end up a 4-star prospect and will have other offers to mull over before all is said and done.

He’s up there with the 2024 Neville RB and they are good friends so I hope he changes his mind.
