Some of these are obvious, some are not. Cowan’s awesome start, particular his response to the homer, cannot be overlooked. Bear is the obvious hero. Hernandez for simply getting the barrel on the ball and forcing the fielder to make a play, which he didn’t.

Mayers could have easily folded and gotten shelled, but he got out of the inning.

Noot, did the job Jay asked him to do to perfection.

Shores was stretched out, battled even though he was let down by the fielders.

And Jay…gets the job done without erasing Eyanson.

Proud of this team regardless of what happens this weekend.

Well said! Jay pushed the right buttons this game, like he has pretty much all season.

If you would have told me three weeks ago that we’d ride Cowan-Noot-Shores-Mayers to a win like this I would not have believed you.

Those guys all nutted up in a big way, even after some things didn’t go their way tonight.

You forget about Brown and his 2 RBI hit?

I thought LSU blew it, but because of fielding. At this point, I completely trust Jay. He had this thing mapped out to perfection, even when shite hit the fan.

Yeah, the decision to pinch hit Brown was the decision of the game.

not being critical...but Brown was pretty damn clutch in that situation.

Reminds me of two years ago. Those guys did the exact same thing. I would name them but I know I'll forget somebody. Came in when needed and just got the job done, pitch after pitch.

Good call on Brown. Can’t believe I overlooked that one. So many clutch events in this game.

Jay completely outcoached DVH pinch hitting Jake Brown. Seems crazy to say but DVH walked Pearson because he wanted to face Stanfield for the righty/righty advantage. He wasn't expecting Jay to go to pull Stanfield at all because I'm not sure Stanfield has been pinch hit for at all this year outside of a couple times. Coaching is key, also helps when the piggies choke
