Continuation of Sex and the City
Man, I am getting sick of seeing these promos on HBO streaming. They are so annoying and the dialog is just so bad and cringe. I guess as long as women are still watching HBO they'll continue to put out this dribble. I don't understand how horsey face keeps getting roles.

a new chapter of the groundbreaking HBO series, Sex and the City, follows Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate the journey from the friendship they had in their 30s to a more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s

Just for reference, Sarah Jessica Parker is the same age as the women were on Golden Girls.
This is basically watching the Golden Girls talk about their sex lives.

Kristin Davis (Charlotte) will always be fine as hell, IMO.

"Sex and the City" is actually a solid show. "And Just Like That" is completely unnecessary and backtracks on some of the most important plot lines from the original show and the two movies. I gave it a chance when it first came out and was really disappointed

That's what happened on Golden Girls.

I really think that show helped ruin the psyche of a generation of American women.

i wasn't a hater of the show or the movies, but the first episode of the reboot killed off one husband and then made it obvious one of the ladies was going to cheat on her husband with a black lesbian talk show host.

Yeah, SJP and Kristin Davis are already 60. Nixon turns 60 next year. Cattrall turns 70 next year.
70...

Blanche could get it.

Funny how the 3 of them suddenly started hanging out with only people of color & non binary/lesbians in this new show.

I believe it just started its 3rd season. Hopefully it's the last. My wife is a huge fan of the original SATC series, and truth be told, so am I. And Just Like That is an abomination. It's so woke that it's sickening at times. They killed off Mr. Big, destroyed Carrie and Samantha's friendship, turned Miranda into a lesbian, introduced a non-binary character who, in my opinion, is possibly the most unlikeable person I've ever come across on TV, brought in several BIPOC characters just for the sake of diversity, and Kristin Davis' plastic surgery makes Charlotte tough to look at when you remember how beautiful she used to be. It's a failed attempt the capture the magic of the original series.

I prefer my drunken whores to be British. And funny.

the problem with And Just Like That is that if you haven't figured your life out by the age they are then you never will

Ugly wrinkly whores are still ugly wrinkly whores, 25 years later.

I was a huge SATC fan and loved the 1st movie. 2nd movie was total shite and this new series is even worse. Shoving wokeness and diversity down your throat. I couldn't get past the 2nd episode.

Did Kim Catrall's character die?
I'm assuming, as I don't watch. Or care.

No.
Kim Cattrall and SJP had a falling out in real life, so they destroyed Carrie and Samantha's friendship on the show and had Samantha move to London.
