I'm excited to see what JJ does in Game 3. I am cautiously optimistic that the good pitching we've gotten so far will continue. With that said, I expect something similar to the below for next game;

Starter Noot: 1 time through lineup and evaluate. 2-3 innings.

Next-Up Ware: Shorter leash than Noot. 1 maybe 2 innings.

Middle Cowan: Same thought process as Noot. 2-3 innings.

Bridge (if needed) Rizy: 1 inning

Closer Shores: I'm good to send him out as early as the 7th depending on the game flow and if we have a VERY high chance of winning our side tomorrow. Rest 2 days and be available Saturday.

Situational (1 batter):
LHP: Primeaux
RHP: Mayers

Trust Issues:
Schmidt (he's a stud but too wild as of late, could eat innings if things go awry to save bullpen)

Ideal scenario is just not running Eyanson out there and coming out with a win. Other than that, throw whoever and we can have Anderson and Evans ready for Saturday with Eyanson and whatever arms are available Sunday

What happened to Fontenot? The one time he pitched in SEC tournament he actually looked good.

LSU will probably be going up against Root which going to need to find an alpha on the mound. I doubt he struggles 2 games in a row. UCLA isn't beating Arkansas. Their bullpen is arse.

Noot will likely start with Rizy, Primeaux, and Cowan out of the pen. Maybe Shores to close if we're up.

If its a tight game, Cowan might be saved to start next one.

I’m actually ok with Williams going back out as well. He gave up some unlucky hits and walked a guy, but he still looked like he can compete. He’s the best lefty in the pen still IMO.

What? They're not saving Cowan to start. Eyanson would start the next game and you'd blow him for the championship series.

I believe Eyanson starts the elimination game on Thursday if we lose on Wednesday. You can’t take the chance of saving him for the 3 game series.

If LSU can win tomorrow without using Eyanson than this World Series is over

I'm good with Coop being ran out as well. I was more or less looking at this situation as saving your current best arms and trying to get this to Shores late.

What do you think I just said? He'd play the next game? Do you have reading comprehension? The poster above said they're saving Cowan for a start which implied a Thursday start. I said Eyanson would start and you'd blow him for the championship.

If Anderson last pitched Saturday, why couldn't he pitch tomorrow?

Then again for game 2 on Sunday and have Eyenson go Saturday...assuming we pull it out tomorrow night.

FIFY.

I would love nothing more that a Cal-Irvine of UF in game 3 type of breakout in the early innings.

I also am all in on Louisville going on a run and winning three straight.

Have you watched Coastal play? I think that would be a great CWS if both teams have their top 2 pitchers available.

Ware hasn't pitched since the South Carolina series, I'm not sure he's in the rotation of relievers Jay trusts at the moment.

This is where the rain delay will bite. When your #3 starter is Johnny Wholestaff, you don’t win many championships.
Ideal was for Anderson, Eyanson, and Evans to give you long starts and then piece together the back end with Shores and Williams. Then set that up again for the championship series and run it back. Now you are in a position where you need Cowan to turn into Ty Floyd.

Jay should just quit. No way we win now
