I like this. More ammo to move up in this draft for the right guy (just hope it's not Bailey)

Probably good for both teams. Barring serious injuries, Pacers pick is unlikely to be better.

Ehhh, the way our luck goes Halliburton is gonna blow his Achilles out in their next game, be out all next season and they will have the 1st pick

Pacers have serious salary concerns and wanted to get off this pick. I like it for us. Theres good value in this late first round.

Next years draft is suppose to be loaded but you never know. Don’t hate it. Theres good value at 23 in this draft

I guess this is a good move. I have no idea who Mojave King is. His wikipedia entry tells me it is unlikely he will make the team.

The pick we traded was Top-4 protected. I assume Indiana will be pretty good next year. So we essentially traded a tail-end first round draft pick in 2026 for a tail-end first round pick in 2025.

No time like the present! I wouldn't be surprised if we sit pat at both #7 and #23. Bryson Graham fancies himself a draft expert. This gives him another shot at drafting a good player.

ESPN put out a mock this morning and had Nique Clifford going 23rd to Indy, who I've been tooting his horn for quite a while now. Would love that

Clifford, Clayton, Fleming, Coward could all be there. Quality potential for depth pieces

Dumars is trying to trade up. I’m not a fan of trading up in this draft

Also....I believe this top-4 protected first round pick from Indiana was the "prize" of the Brandon Ingram trade. Toronto acquired it in the Siakam trade. Now it's back with Indiana.

So we traded Brandon Ingram for the 23rd pick in the 2025 draft. (Plus Olynyk and Bruce Brown...and Brown is now a UFA)

If we do keep this pick, guys who have worked out for us who may be in that range were Clifford, Newell (doubt he’s there), and Riley.

I really want Thomas Sorber but he’s probably not there at 23. I like Joan Beringer in that range. Very young and athletic big that just measured very well

I’m pretty sure someone on a podcast said they heard from a close source that Riley was absolutely balling in his workout with us.

Shamit says: To my understanding, the Pelicans are very much wanting to take multiple shots in this draft. I would be shocked if this is a precursor to a large move.

Doesn't necessarily mean they're moving up. I think you can get a high quality rotational guy at 23 which is what I wanted when we traded BI. An extra pick this year is more valuable for this team than in 26.

Riley is incredibly streaky. I think he has a negative wingspan which isn’t great. Also needs to gain significant weight.
