For those that are mad with DJT's response to Israel/Iran, what was he supposed to do?

Israel ignores him and attacks Iran, perhaps our biggest enemy in the world, without active US involvement.

What do you suggest he should do? If he does that, what do you expect will happen? I am legitimately interested.

Try doing nothing for once.

Maybe build a new bridge in the US or some high speed rail.

I just don’t think we should bomb Iran at Israel’s bidding. Supplying them and even helping to shoot down incoming Iranian missiles is fine with me.

Nothing.

Let Israel handle it. If they can’t, let it be on them.

Right. If Israel has this handled then let them handle it. Invest in U.S. infrastructure instead of pissing our money away supporting other militaries around the world.

When did we attack/invade Iran? Can any of the crybabies answer this question?

DJT was negotiating in good faith with Iran and Israel used that as cover to launch a low blow attack. Israel completely undermined Trump. He should have publicly reprimanded Israel and pulled support. Instead he doubled down

Its disappointing. It doesnt remove my support for his domestic policies but I know now that he isnt beyond the control of AIPAC

I get it. It is a shitty situation. I just wonder what would happen if he did nothing. In other words, no leadership, no efforts at trying to negotiate a solution. Perhaps Israel bombs Iran into nothing and they become Afghanistan. Perhaps other countries defend Iran and it becomes a regional war. We will never know I guess.

If this exact scenario was happening under Biden or Obama and either one of those Presidents sat back and did nothing, this board would lose it.

Trump is involved and trying to lead this to a resolution that does not involve US troops.

It is quite amazing that so many of us that support him do not get that what he is doing right now is making the world think that the US is about to enter the war.

He has so many posters here up in arms panicking. They look like imbeciles.

Hopefully Iran is panicking as well and will capitulate.

We elected him to lead. Let him do it.

It’s bad regardless of what is done. DJT doesn’t allow anything and others understand that and jump ( Russia, China or other Mideast countries) in behind Iran. If DJT does back up Israel with a mighty amount of support then American people is once again dealing with these messes. DJT strength comes from rogue countries not understanding him and not knowing what he will do. That’s not shown to be a problem so far

I think this is going to happen, and it will be favorable for the world.

But once it happens, we need to get serious about controlling Israel economically. They need to stop with the Gaza bullshite.

Neither you, or any of the rest of us know exactly how this went down.

Trump said he gave Iran 60 days. I, personally, take him at his word.

Even that doesn’t give me warm and fuzzies, but I can live with it, but absolutely nothing on the offensive.
