This delay sucks, and will take some of the "2-0" advantage away from the winning team. But it is still imperative to be that team.

Evans is the best you have, and can give you length. Go all in tomorrow and don't try and get cute.

If you lose with Evans tomorrow, you’re in bad shape having to go against Root and Arkansas without any of the top 3. I’d personally try to go Williams, a few guys to get an inning at a time, and then Evans to finish if we hold the lead. If you burn Evans in a losing effort, that kill our chances. I’d personally not risk it. I trust in Jay either way

I’d throw Williams and hope he gets you and inning or two. If you have extended the lead, you save Evans. If Williams gets in trouble, you bring in Evans.

I don't think LSU has the luxury of going all in tomorrow if you don't have to.

Having said that, if Evans were to take the ball, go 6 and win, what would be your plan for the next 2 games?

Yeah Williams has proven he can go 2-3 solid innings. If there was time for Cowan to go off again it’s now.

Root isn't throwing tomorrow night. He'll probably throw Wednesday if they advanced. Most he can do for them is close that game out if they need him but I don't think they want to use him.

Maybe 2 more days of rain will help us

Really need Evans to go 6 inn tomorrow in a win so we can rely on the best of the rest from Wholestaff on Wednesday.

Hopefully that gets us to Saturday with a fresh Anderson for 1-0 and a fresh Eyanson on Sunday for 2-0 and the dogpile and title #8

We need our bats and not have to worry about them getting some runs.
We were headed that way and it rained, just like we all knew it would. The NCAA cannot do anything right.
Who runs these idiots?

100% agree.

Williams-Shores and hope the lead is extended so you don't have to use Evans

If game is close you absolutely have to use Evans tomorrow.

Cowan if hes on could pitch the whole game,or he could go for most of the game and close with evans or shores for an inning each and they would be good to go for the next game for an inning or two.

if cowans off just pull him

He threw 38 pitches on Saturday, he’s absolutely available to start on a Tuesday elimination game.

Shores on a short leash.

If he has it thank god. And you let it ride

If he doesn't have control then you go to Evan's immediately

Once UCLA has tied it or taken the lead?

Nah I’m good . Teams have figured Cowan out. Sit on change up and it’s over
