How do you say? Game 1 against LSU was same day. 2nd game is same day. If we win today they Ark has to beat UCLA and if Ark wins we play.... on the same day.

They were also held to 1 run for 6 innings against below average arms. They absolutely NEEDED that from Wood today. The bats will have to wake up for them to become the big bad monster people are hyping them up to be.

Agreed. Arky will need to play UCLA (hopefully) and burn more pitching before Wednesday. Gaeckle and now Wood are out of the rotation. I suspect they'll start Landon Beidelschies (RHP) on Tuesday.

Maybe thinking of an older format.
Ark plays against the loser of tonight's game tomorrow evening. The winner of that game plays the winner of tonight's game Wednesday evening. The "if necessary" game would be Thursday.
They tweaked the format several years ago to avoid double headers, except for makeup rain delays

No. Arky will play UCLA/LSU tomorrow. The next game will be Wednesday and the if necessary game will be Thursday.
No double headers at CWS

They won't have the guy thatbrelieved against us...ibwouldnt think...cutting his rest to 3 or 4 days he had to have thrown 100.
Also, arkansas now will have to throw their third starter against ucla tomorrow. If we do face them again...they will have root on short rest and relievers for possibly 2 games.

Maybe so but you have to admit that was cool to watch. Gage Wood was dealing! If Chase Shores could get command of his pitches like that we could see similar results. Well done!
BTW: I will be going back to look at the HBP in 9th but to me it looked like the catcher's glove was between the ball and batters cleat. Does that matter? Would have loved to see the 1st PERFECT game in CWS history!
