I’ll bet Jay didn’t think Jared would go 0-5 with 5Ks in CWS game 1. Put it in play 1 time. Look at Pearson. He drove 1 run in and went hitless. He also had a walk.

To me this is the problem with Jones. Just focus on putting it in play, and good things will follow. Pearson also had an out which took 10 pitches.

We just beat the best team in the field.
We’re not going to score 10 runs every game and Bear won’t go 4-4 every game like he did last Sunday.
