Been a long time costa wearer. Looking at maybe switching it up. What’s yall thoughts on the Oakley Prizm polarized compared to the others? I do a lot of saltwater fishing inshore and offshore.

Me personally I would go with Bajio or Maui Jim. I have a lot better luck with real glass lenses over plastic as far as scratch resistance.

Switched to Bajio last summer and wish I had sooner. After the back and forth with costa and their BS warranty for the millionth time, I tried several cheap ones with plastic lenses. They just got too scratched up too quickly.

Oakley Prizm is good for being lightweight plastic. The others are glass which is better but heavier.

I wore Oakleys for years, never had an issue until I couldn’t get Oakley replacement lenses for my favorite frames. Then hello Maui Jim’s, and I doubt I’ll find anything I like better…

Not all Maui Jim’s have glass. I have prescription lenses in mine and they’re plastic.

Buddy has some Oakley’s with the Prizm lenses and the lenses seem better than my Maui Jim’s when I tried them on. Was crazy how much colors popped in them.

I made the switch to Bajio from Costa. Costas suck these days. I won't be going back.

Yea but they have the option for glass just like Costa and Bajio. As far as I know all Oakleys are plastic.

I’m currently in costa spears xl w the Rx lens. I love the Rx clarity.
I don’t love the mirror color finish.
I also had Oakleys in Rx. Oakley fit n finish is good. But not the frame size options.
I’m gonna try Bajio next.

I've worn Costa Permits for probably 15 years, wanted something different so I picked up a pair of Oakley Holbrook XLs. They fit great and the lenses are super sharp. I always thought my head was too big for Oakleys but I like these.

Grilling burgers and replying to you with a pair of Bajio’s on right now. I had one frame style and it broke on me. Sent them back and wanted a different style. They sent me a code for 100% off. 2 days and I got another pair. They are quality glasses. They broke because I set on them.

Yes, the Hollowbrook Xl are what I have as well and I like them. I just wish they were a tad bit bigger.

Costa is terrible since they were bought by Luxottica. They now only have a 1 year warranty and the rubber they use is shite and deteriorates.

I have a pair right now where the rubber nose piece has completely broken after 18 months. Sent a repair request to Costa and they said they don’t have nose piece replacements and sent a 10% coupon off a new pair. I have another set of Costas form 2014 that I wear more and they are still fine.

Smith. I’ve had Oakley (Holbrooks), Maui Jim, Ray-Ban, Costa, and Smith. Smith and Ray Ban make the best lenses. Smith has better outdoor frame selection.

I've worn them all-

I absolutely loved my Bajios- had them about 3 years.

Ive owned 3 pairs of Oakley with Prizm lens.

I am a coach, and where shades almost every day, I honestly prefer the oakleys because they are so much lighter than the glass lens shades.

Can't go wrong either way.

Trying some maui jims now. Got about 10 years out of my coastas but 8 of them were with the rubber attached with 5200. Ended up being just 5200 on them after the rubber just disappeared, bout 5 years like that.

Liking the Jim's alot so far. The lenses are of course excellent but I like that the frame has minimal rubber involved.
