I think he called a decent game. He was consistent even though he was calling low pitches as strikes. He gave Anderson all the confidence to throw that low curveball.

Yeah, he was consistent...

Consistent at bad calls....

He was calling low, sometimes really low and every now and then he was calling shite up... And that last call on Jones was terrible...

He's pissed me off so many times I can't even give him credit for mediocrity.

Best game I've seen him call. Give me the marginal strike over getting squeezed every time.

He called a good game

Anderson was the biggest beneficiary to the questionable calls

If we noticed him then by definition he had a bad game.
But that’s exactly what that fricker wants—his name on everyone’s lips. Why he loves to get into it with Tony V! And why you don’t wrassle with pigs—you’ll both get dirty and the pig likes it!

Arkansas radio guys were complaining about the umpire a lot. I think one might be a former player.

LINK

And I mean a lot. Even before the time on my link. They basically said they were getting screwed and batters had nothing they could do about it. Even in the 9th they said the ump was terrible.

I think they complained about him for at least 3 innings I listened to.

That first strike he called that almost hit Pearson was a pretty good indicator of how the zone was going to look, it was all over the place for both teams.

His dad had a real estate company In Birmingham in the 70’s and 80’s- Richard Head Realty. He sold my parents house in the ‘79 in Vestavia Hills. loved having that Richard Head Realty sign in the yard…
