Very helter skelter match so far between inter Miami and AL Ahly. Miami saved a pen.

Credit to Suarez for his men’s league physique and style of play.

Miami knocking on the door these last few minutes. Unlucky to not be up.

preface. I’m not trying to pick a fight. genuinely curious. in places like Egypt or other somewhat less visible footballing countries, is this being treated as a big deal? I know Al Ahly is the biggest club is Egypt, and this may be one of the more visible games they’ve ever played outside of Africa. are the locals stoked on this? because if so, the concept of this tourney growing into something might have some legs, at least for those clubs who don’t really have any other avenue to do much other than their domestic league or continental tournaments

Elephant in the room…..

That was probably MLS’s best chance to win a match this entire tournament.

I think you're spot on. MLS roster restrictions are really going to show.

Good slate of matches tomorrow. Should be a fun day of soccer.

Maybe for the other teams, but what exact restrictions does Miami have? Any time they want a player MLS bends the rules for them to get them, it’s why they are just a Barca retirement regen team.

Surprisingly fun match, Miami knew they needed the 3 points.

If that was the case, they would have a better roster. They aren’t close to being the best team in MLS.

Bayern vs Auckland kicks off. Tah making his debut for Bayern while Mueller has his swan song.

At the match. Decent crowd tbh (maybe 15k), heavy function of German heritage in Cincy

4-0 at 22nd minute tho, so…not sure what we’re getting out of this

20 minutes in and Bayern up 3-0 with goals from Coman, Boey, and Olise.

Because their squad was built for commercial purposes

Not to be competitive

Exactly. By 2027 they will be back to bottom of the table again and all of their plastic fans will forget they exist.

Easily the most unlikable team and “fan base” in MLS.
