Caitlin Clark is shooting 31% from 3 and was 34% last season

This is not a hater post. I genuinely didn’t know. I’ve seen many clips of her launching 3s from the moon like Steph Curry. I assumed she was a 40%+ 3pt shooter based on the shots she takes. I pulled up her stats just to see how much she was dominating and was pretty surprised to see she’s only a low 30s 3pt shooter.

That doesnt tell me anything. Why are you bringing up the greatest shooter to ever live as a comparison? How does that compare to other women and what kind of volume.

She shot the most and made the most last season. She’s a volume shooter.

ETA: She moved up from 47th in the league to 27th in 3-point shooting percentage for the season.

Yea the steph comparisons white male boomer wnba fans (weirdest fans in all of sports) loved to make are just a joke. The entire nba is a joke but CC specifically isn’t the shooter people make her out to be.

Fact is she isn't a good shooter but she is a good playmaker and passes the ball better than any other WNBA player.
