Pretty solid definition. A lot of people can play ball. Few are superstars.

Yes, exactly. This is why TX Tiger's melting about Caitlin Clark is so hilarious. "Statistically she's not even the best guard in the league, she has a ways to go before she's a superstar!!!!"

She's the only player people come out to see, in person or on television. She's the only superstar in the WNBA.

Let me add a caveat. It has to be a bad teams’ building in a small market, like the Pelicans more often than not. When teams are good, they sell out the building, not the opponents

My daughter plays AAU and will in high school, I would pay money to take her to see Caitlyn Clark. We wouldn’t go otherwise. She’s a superstar.

Before Jordan matured into the nut cutter he became, people went to his away games hoping to see him score 50, and lose.

I kind of hate this thread devolved into a WNBA pissing match.

In any case, who would be the clear cut superstars right now? I think Lebron & Steph are still there. Luka definitely. Jokic is questionable. He's best in the league, but is he selling out away arenas as must-see tv?

Who else would fit the mold under Magic's criteria. Giannis? Ant? Wemby?

LeBron is the last one, before him Kobe. That’s the NBAs problem, because everyone plays the same now in a sense.
