Early schedule record prediction for LSU?

What is your prediction as of right now for LSU's record? What game(s) will they lose, if any? Do they make the CFP, and how far will they advance?
Here are my guesses..
Toss Up @ Clemson
W vs LA Tech
W vs Florida
W vs SELA
W @ Ole Miss
W vs South Carolina
W @ Vanderbilt
W vs Texas A&M
L @ Alabama
W vs Arkansas
W vs Western Kentucky
Toss Up @ Oklahoma
So, that's 9-1 in games I picked.
I think LSU and Clemson are evenly matched, with Clemson maybe having a slightly better DL and a plus with a mobile QB. But, the unknown is will Nuss use his legs, and will Van Buren or Johnson have a package?
Oklahoma has a lot to prove this season, but they have a difference maker finally in Mateer. But do they have enough pieces surrounding him?
I think at worst, LSU splits those two games, finishes 10-2, and secures a 8-10 seed in the CFP.
At best, LSU finishes 11-1, plays for the SEC title, and secures a 1-7 seed in the CFP.
They should have the team to compete and advance in the CFP to at least the second round, perhaps the semifinals. If things break the right way, they could find themselves playing for the national title.

This early game worries me. FL Defense is going to be better than last year. Their DL gave our OL fits in Gainesville.

I predict I won't give a shite about football until June 25th.

I cannot make a good prediction about the full season, but I do know that the Arkansas game a week after Bama at 11 AM will be annoying af regardless of how bad Arkansas is.

I’m thinking 12-0 would be better

Yeah, Florida will be better, but so will LSU. Lagway was Houdini last year against us, but can he repeat that against a better defense this time around?

Arkansas is always an irritant. Scrappy bunch, but I believe our talent level and depth wins out regardless if it's a one score win or blowout.

Close losses at Clemson, at Ole Miss, and at Bama. 9-3 then 10-3 with Fla bowl win.

9-3 with losses to Clemson and Bama and we drop one of Florida, A&M or Ole Miss.

LSU is NOT losing to Bama. They are way overated.

I’m going 10-2 playoff bound

I think we have a great shot but it’s in Tuscaloosa. The early spread is -6 Bama

9-3 or possibly 10-2 if they somehow manage to win an opener.
Posted on 6/12/25 at 2:56 pm to Tigahs08
There are 6-7 teams with greater than 30% of winning vs LSU. I would say we win 60% of those games so I'll set the floor at 3 losses and the ceiling at no losses. Most likely 2. Maybe 4.

It depends if one of the pass catchers is in the hospital still or not.
