Arkansas is always an irritant. Scrappy bunch, but I believe our talent level and depth wins out regardless if it's a one score win or blowout.
Yeah, Florida will be better, but so will LSU. Lagway was Houdini last year against us, but can he repeat that against a better defense this time around?
I'd love to see an LSU-Coastal Carolina rematch, this time for the CWS championship with the Tigahs winning.

However, it would also make good coverage to meet Arizona for the CWS championship since that's where Coach Johnson came over from.
What is your prediction as of right now for LSU's record? What game(s) will they lose, if any? Do they make the CFP, and how far will they advance?

Here are my guesses..

Toss Up @ Clemson
W vs LA Tech
W vs Florida
W vs SELA
W @ Ole Miss
W vs South Carolina
W @ Vanderbilt
W vs Texas A&M
L @ Alabama
W vs Arkansas
W vs Western Kentucky
Toss Up @ Oklahoma

So, that's 9-1 in games I picked.
I think LSU and Clemson are evenly matched, with Clemson maybe having a slightly better DL and a plus with a mobile QB. But, the unknown is will Nuss use his legs, and will Van Buren or Johnson have a package?
Oklahoma has a lot to prove this season, but they have a difference maker finally in Mateer. But do they have enough pieces surrounding him?

I think at worst, LSU splits those two games, finishes 10-2, and secures a 8-10 seed in the CFP.
At best, LSU finishes 11-1, plays for the SEC title, and secures a 1-7 seed in the CFP.
They should have the team to compete and advance in the CFP to at least the second round, perhaps the semifinals. If things break the right way, they could find themselves playing for the national title.
