Anyone here ever seen it? I cannot find it. And have never seen it. I did watch the 1957 Godzilla, King of the Monsters, last night.
Where can I find the 54 version?

It’s very good. Dark and twisted art house movie with a super poignant and thought provoking ending.
Also Godzilla is at his scariest here in my opinion. He’s the straight up devil in this movie.

I watched “Son of Godzilla”, it was so bad, it was awesome. I also watched the 57 Godzilla (American reporter). I’m guessing it’s the 54 version Americanized.
I’m watching “Godzilla vs Megalon” right now.

Watch Godzilla vs Hedorah aka Godzilla vs The Smog Monster. It’s a trippy, brutal, insane, sludge filled movie. Easily the most unique Godzilla movie.

I like the part in Godzilla V Mechagodzilla where Mechagodzilla realizes mid fight that he too is Godzilla and they both team up to destroy Tokyo

I downloaded back when rarbg was still around but I'm sure you can still find a working torrent somewhere.

A couple of years ago the wife (no pics) and I caught this on one of the HBO channels.
Right after that the same channel played the 1956 Godzilla King of Monsters starring Raymond Burr.
It didn't take us long to realize it was basically the same movie except the American version stuck Burr into a few scenes with some Japanese bit players in the background.

The 1954 version is quite different than the Raymond burr cut, but I'm honestly unsure which I prefer better. The original version is very heavy handed with the social commentary; it is not implied.
I prefer minus one to both.

That was Raymond Burr.
