Is there a better treat? I think not, it’s an incredibly good snack invention.

I think it's interesting that the sandwich was invented as a carrier for food to your mouth, but the ice cream sandwich is messier than regular ice-cream. It's delicious, but on hot days the chocolate gets all over your fingers and the ice-cream can fall out of the sandwich if you don't eat it fast enough.

They’re good and I’m guilty of grabbing a box of HCF brand while I’m in HEB but the all-time worst/best treat would have to be the Reese’s Peanut Butter shaped eggs, hearts and trees.

Unwrap as you consume. I eat them in an air conditioned environment.

I’ve recently introduced bluebell ice cream sandwiches to my son and now he’s asking for them everyday. But to answer your question, yes it’s the best treat out there.

We used to get the big, soft, oatmeal cookies in the lunchroom at school. Then buy the little ice cream container and let all that sit until you finished lunch. Put the ice cream between the two cookies and make our own ice cream sandwich. Good times.
