Why can’t immigrants just admit that their home countries suck

I think we could make a lot of progress if they were just willing to do this simple act. The countries they came from are shite and they want to come to America because it’s a lot better here.
It’s pretty frustrating to see them wave their home country’s flag in a protest against the country they are trying to get into. As if they don’t get why we don’t want them here. If they think Mexico is so awesome, then why are they here?

They treat America like a job bank or economic zone because we allow it and encourage it.
I don't think most of them hate us/America. I do think there is a cultural distinction, as many of our forefathers embraced becoming part of something and/or creating something new, and you don't see that in Somali, Mexican or Pakistani enclaves in the US.
Until we act like America represents a homeland and a culture that was intentionally built instead of just being a landing ground for anyone who can get here, wants to make some cash and wants to contribute to our GDP, we should expect that to continue.

I don't have a problem with people being proud of their roots. Waving the Mexican flag doesn't bother me.
It's burning the American flag, breaking our laws and feeling entitled to live here/benefit here - that's where I have problems.

If you're here working for a Mexican company and you wave the flag and have the sticker on your car - good for you. Enjoy your stay, etc.
If you're a permanent resident (of any type), stop it or GTFO.

They're coming to conquer your nation. When people enter a country without authorization and attack it under the flag of their own country, that's an invasion. The point is conquest.
You're not going to debate your way out of it with these people. They're not going to say, "You're right. Mexico sucks" and play nice.

I don't like it but I can live with them still having pride in their home country. However, when I see them burn and spit on our flag, I wish they had just done us a favor and drowned on their way in.

No, just like I don't get upset when people celebrate Cinco de mayo. I must have missed the holiday these protestors are celebrating.
