There is nothing especially wrong with I-12, it is the way some dumb asses drive on it. I drive it everyday Monday thru Thursday and I am amazed how more people are not killed.

Because it is a swamp. There is no rock anywhere. Everything is barged in from Missouri, down the Mississippi river. There is only so much soil stabilization that can be done.

Interstate 12 should be 3 lanes the entire length.

2 reasons:

The reason there is a pothole to begin with. It's a failure. It needs to be addressed and there is a proper way to "fix" it.

The second reason is it costs money to do it correctly and it costs money to do it quickly. Both of which Baton Rouge doesn't have the money for to fix. The city itself is stretched thin and potholes are a "low" priority until someone important complains. The other is the public bid system, and that is a mess.

It’s the I-55 & Hammond clover on/off ramps for me. It’s beyond comprehension how that hasn’t been updated.

Aktshually, the limestone used in Louisiana comes from Kentucky & Indiana.

The Portland Cement used in Louisiana generally comes from Missouri or Al-a-BAMA!

Correct, as should 10 and 20. I'm all for all major interstates being three laned across the entire country and from border to border. 40 definitely needs to be 3, 80 as well.

And it should be 4 lanes from BR through LP.
