Does your company match 401K deposits?

How much?
Mine just cut back from $ for $ up to 6% to $ for $ on 2% and .50 on the $ for the next 4%.
Just wondering where we rank.

Mine does 1:1 match up to 6%, but they also do an additional 6% for people hired prior to a certain year. So I put up 6%, they do 12%.
I also get a 15% bonus that can be more depending on company performance.
Although you raises are about 3% no matter how well you perform.

My company matches $ to $ up to 10%. Makes it very tough to leave….

I have no idea what my company matches on my 401k. I’m capped at 6% so I put in 12k to 14k per year and my company puts in anywhere from 90% to 175% through the match and esop.

Mine does $ for $ for first 3%. And 50% of next 3%. So 4.5% for every 6% I put in. I am on responsible PTO now where I take off without worrying about PTO hours.

Mine does 50% up to 6% and then they will add a variable % based on profit for the last year.

I did some math and it looks like they match up to around 5%. We had an amazing year in profit one year so they put in almost double of the 6% I put in.

We were 1:1. Up to 6%. But that changed about 8 years ago when it went 1:1 till 3% then 0.5:1 (or 5%) to get a 4% total match.

Mine matches up to 6% then they put an extra 4.5% at the end of the year

Mine matches 8% for a 2% contribution. 4% for a 1% contribution.

4% Automatic contribution, plus 50% of the 1st 8% matching contribution.
It’s their weird way of saying 1:1 on up to 8%

$ for $ up to 7% which is the best I’ve ever had with a company however this was replacing a pension plan that they stopped about 3 years after I came on board.

Then it’s a Safe harbor plan. They must contribute whether the employees participate or not.

Then shame on you. It’s in your employee handbook and if your company is giving free money you damned well should know what the match is.

Mine matches 7%. One of the better ones I know of

My company does 50% match up to 6% income. However, we consistently fail our favoring “high income” employees test and I only get about $15k/year total investments I can make due to that. Meh better than nothing, which several years ago got zero match.

100% first 3% then 50% the next 2%, think this is the most common match system on fidelity but it kind of sucks

Mine contributes 2.00 an hour, maxed at 40 hours. You don’t have to contribute anything

I’ve been there 23 years

I’m getting it just don’t know the percentage matched. I’m not sure if it’s set in stone because it changes every year.
I put in my typical 12k to 14k and they usually put in 20k to 23.5k on top of what I put in. Last year for some reason it was only 14k but 2023 was almost 24k so it really is all over the place.
I just read and our board of directors determine the amount of 401k match every year so I have no clue what it’s going to be every year. It seems to be 3% to 5% every year but then the esop and profit sharing make up the rest.
