Doug Thompson on the postgame show: “If you don’t think that guy (Blair) cares about it, just listen to that call.”

Chris Blair has been great, especially with the intensity of last week’s regional.

Every single coach and personality associated with LSU reads the rant

He doesn't describe the home runs. When WV hit that last home run, I had no idea it was a possibility. He said the LSU outfielders were giving chase so flatly I figured one was going to catch it. Then...it was over the wall.

Or at least has someone keep them apprised of the goings on.

He does not accurately portray what is actually happening. I listened to the game in the car. The Milam home run was a perfect example. “Fly ball to right, the outfielder drifts under it (monotone). That ball is gone!” I was so confused listening to it. He made it sound like a routine out and then a grand slam. The energy sounded forced.

I hope Buzzy and Doug read this. They did a poor job of prepping for their job. Today they were discussing about how long to pitch Anderson because LSU could end up playing on Friday in Omaha.

Problem is, our half of the Omaha bracket was set for the Satruday games when the regional brackets were released.

And people bitched about Jim Hawthorne for just the opposite........."it's back, way back, and he has it short of the track................"
