I'm out here trying to get a nibble, it only takes one.

24 hours - We have a camp so I'm going to sleep when it gets hot and fish mostly at night, Big Black Spinner Bait / Black Worm.

Good luck.
My grandparents have a camp on hurricane creek. I’ve got some great memories of swimming, fishing with my grandpa, and spending time there as a kid. Man, what I’d give to go back to the 80’s and 90’s and be able to fish with him in his Raycraft.

I remember fishing those tourneys back in the day. Brutal but fun. Good luck!

No you go weigh your fish at the weigh station and they are released, it's every two hours.

some people will keep fish until the middle of the day where the weights go down but non should be kept 24 hours.

They add what you weigh through out the day for the total stringer

“North Cerntral” typo at the bottom gave me a chuckle.

We had a houseboat at Huxley Bay on Toledo Bend for several years. In the early 1980’s most of the guides ran Raycraft.

Used to fish the Tuesday night fruit jars there. Also the Peach Festival all nighter. Would fish an old rail track that ran across one of the arms. Old timers told me it was from when they logged the lake.

There's a place called "The Tram" we have always fished, I thought it was an old road bed but might be a train track. It's north of the 33 Bridge.

Not sure how I feel about this, should professionals / guides be allowed to fish random tournaments ?

As a kid I can remember fishing a submerged roadbed or railroad track. Seems like it was on the north side of the lake between terral island and the 33 bridge.

My parents live on the north side of Darbonne where the Tram used to connect to Farmerville.

The tram is all but gone these days. The sand/silt fill in over the years from all the development has made all those north pockets just shallow flat mud holes.

You can still catch fish up there but it’s mostly around the docks and structure people have planted. Jared Linter spent the entire MLF tourney around my parents dock a few years back. He did well.

I agree, he shouldn’t be allowed to fish

Doesn't matter most pros are no better than the local hot sticks, they just have shirts with sponsor logos on them.

And fancy electronics.

He was catching those big fish in the middle of the day on D’arbonne, this was unheard of before live scope.

Sure but the tournament will eventually cease to exist because the recs will stay home.

That’s it. Couldn’t remember what the locals called it. Sat on that thing almost all night one tourney pulling a Carolina Rig over it. Caught plenty of fish but no big ones.
