I am very grateful to Musk for buying Twitter. I think by doing so it did help Trump immensely. I think that act alone helped greatly in changing the discourse in this country,
His support of Trump publicly and with his money were invaluable.

I choose to side with Trump of course and here’s my why. Musk had every right in the world to publicly criticize the Big Beautiful Bill. He had every right to come down hard with his opinions on it.

He had the right to tweet the one where he wondered what happened to the Trump he knew. Was he now a clone? That gets close to being personal but nothing devastating. No biggie.

The Epstein tweet was way over the top. He badly crossed a line that showed him to be completely unhinged. Lost a lot of respect for him with that. Now I find him somewhat scary. I think drugs may have scrambled his brain. A person like that can no longer be trusted.

Nah. I understand both positions and there is definitely some nuance.
That being said, Elon went nuclear and looks retarded. This should’ve been handled behind closed doors which makes me think it’s theater and shiny bait for the media and lefties while something else is going on.
Classic slight of hand.

Nah. I don’t give a shite about palace intrigue. It’s ok to not GAF and just live your life.

Doesn't Starlink pretty much control the communications for several federal agencies - like the FAA for air traffic control and FEMA for emergency response?

If you dont trust him - holy hell

Trump of course. Love them both but, a stable genius over real genius all day every day.

Elon may have done one of those things many of us have done, in our youth we regret.

I bet they have already spoken through private channels and all is well.

Probably.

Or it was a planned psyop.

Maybe.

Either way, all will be well in due time.

ETA' Besides the fact that President Trump has a lot more to deal with, not the least of which involves avoiding WW3.

At this point is it not highly likely that the spat is staged?

Geek- you make valid points about policy attacks vs deeply personal attacks.

But.. I'm with the majority that just doesn’t **care** about this rich man feud.

Without question, Trump.
I understand Elon's frustration, but the Epstein comment was over the top. Horrible.

If true(which it isn't)then Elon was fine supporting a pedophile until his feelings were hurt.
An inexcusable tantrum, probaly due to his drug use and fragile ego.

Most importantly, I voted for Trump, not Elon.

I would tend to agree. Yet there is a very simple solution by which Trump can clear his name.

No kidding. Both can act like petulant teenage boys at times. It was a clown show from every angle.

This feud illustrates how many people these days, especially on this board, view politics in terms of good guys vs. bad guys, kind of like when me and my brothers were little kids watching WWF wrestling.

But in the end, politics isn't a team sport and you don't have to pick sides and choose allegiances and demonize "the other side," unless you have a few screws loose and lacking in emotional intelligence and allowing politics to fill some mental void on your life.

Sure, but you have to come up with some compelling mass politics that can compete with politics as kayfabe. What you got?
