Good article
Video
I've been taking a position over the past 8 months in RECURSION PHARMACEUTICALS INC CL A (RXRX)
Recursion Pharmaceuticals is a clinical-stage TechBio company using AI and machine learning for drug discovery, with ongoing trials like REC-994 (Phase IIa) and REC-4881.
Reason was NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) owns a position.
Tip Ranks Assessment
Based on 5 Wall Street analysts offering 12 month price targets for Recursion Pharmaceuticals in the last 3 months. The average price target is $6.75 with a high forecast of $8.00 and a low forecast of $3.00. The average price target represents a 45.95% change from the last price of $4.63.
Analysts are still kind of on the fence with this one, but there are others as noted.

I see some potential of neural networks in pharmaceuticals, but honestly I don't see how generative AI would help. Neural networks, other deep learning, and machine learning have been in use for decades. It has been the driving force in understanding how protein molecules fold, for example.
The one thing that is important to keep in mind is that the government could put the hammer down at any moment and pass regulation on generative AI interacting with users. As long as their plan is not to diagnose patients or otherwise introduce discrimination in some way, it should be ok.
They've done this with the government, even though it was rolled back in some ways by Trump, here is an executive order during Biden's admin.

AI will never accept liability for a wrong decision or complication arising from treatment. The programmers don’t want to accept the surrogate liability.
AI will be programmed to say “always check with your physician” even though it will be better at keeping up with the literature, clinical trial inclusion/exclusion criteria for patients, and personalized medicine.

Thanks for the info.
I think there is a large opportunity in the AI and healthcare collaboration and appreciate any info I can find. I think healthcare will be at the top of the list of fields most impacted by AI.

I’m in the process of going pretty big on a convertible promissory note with a company that in short is going to be the brains in surgery robots. It’s pretty crazy how fast this stuff is moving and what it can do. My biggest fear in an investment like this is government stepping in because of all the jobs it could potentially unseat. I’ve seen them do everything from shoulder surgery to wash and check vehicles on dealership lots. Big business wants them almost for the sole purpose of eliminating employee costs. That’s going to cause some serious pushback for all but the earliest adopters.

Can AI take over the billing/coding department to help eliminate the amount of wrongful codings done for services rendered? I’m fully onboard for that

I think it’s already doing that in some places

Anyone else considering a position in RXRX?

Got in before Friday’s pop. Hoping this is a multibagger.

My brother is a engineer with Nvidia and we were discussing the following .I have had some MRI's and CT scans done recently and looking at the billing, I have a radiologist interpret the MRI charge like $5K, for what 15 minutes of looking at the images. He told me in 2 to 5 years, 80% of this type of interpretation will be done by AI with much fewer Radiologist as safeguards. The AI interpretations are more accurate than current eyeballs.

You didn’t get a bill for $5K for the interpretation.
AI/CAD has been able to read imaging studies as good or better than humans for many years, but the physician lobby is powerful and won’t go down without a battle.

As a provider, I'd be all for it if it saved me time and money. It will have to battle the AI insurers already use to deny claims though.
