I think it’s Thunder in 5, but that’s not at all to say that any of the games will be easy or uncompetitive. Gonna be a fantastic battle.

Game 7 would be 17 days from now. They really drag this thing out...

Might be closer than most think. They matchup pretty equally in terms of the type of athletes they both have and their depth. Interested to see if Indiana puts Neismith on SGA like they did to Brunson and if the refs will let him be as rough as he was with Brunson.

First, Pacers have a legitimate shot
Second, I have a feeling there is going to be some TERRIBLE calls this series as SGA flails around primarily looking for contact and not trying to make his shots.
Third, I predict most of this series will be the standard 3-point brick contest

It’ll be interesting to see how much Hartstein plays as well. Indiana does such a good job of setting screens until they get the switch they want, if Hartstein has to chase guys like Turner and Pascal around the perimeter that could favor Indiana. If OKC goes small Indiana will need another big series from Siakam.

Nembhardt likely starts off on SGA like they did the regular season but Nesmith will be on him a lot to. Pretty interchangeable.

OKC is obviously the favorite, but the Pacers have surprised a lot of people. That said, OKC is much better than any teams the Pacers have played. Game One will tell me a lot.

Heart and souls wants Indy but I’m thinking OKC in 6
I’m telling the world Pacers in 6 though.

He needs to push him outside the box and try to keep him away from that elbow jumper.

There's a reason the Thunder are big favorites but they haven't really been tested so far.
Memphis was outmatched and Minny has way too much of an awkward offense with Randle, Ant and Rudy on the court at the same time to be effective when the game becomes a half court grind.
Denver has the best starting 5 in the league but half the time during the OKC series their starters were on the brink of exhaustion from having to carry so much load and being taken to the limit by the Clippers.

These Gruden videos make me feel old with how stiff and rickety Coach looks

I expect every game to be close. I actually DO think the Thunder are “big favorites” like the betting says, in that they probably are going to win most of the tight contests and get it in like 5-6 games. But if you did something like a point spread for the series it would be within 20pts IMO. Just not a series where the record will tell the story.

Feels like IHart is necessary to stop the Siakam solo games but a liability for the Tyrese screen and move games. Definitely a tough dilemma for OKC.

The chance that every game will be close is like 5%. There will be at least 1 blowout. That is just how the NBA is these days.
