BATON ROUGE — More than a dozen people have been arrested and 13 guns seized as part of an ongoing investigation into a criminal street gang known as the “Vultures,” according to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office. One suspect remains at large.

The EBRSO Gang Intelligence and Enforcement Unit began investigating the Vultures in April and May with assistance from the FBI, ATF, DEA, and Louisiana State Police. Investigators conducted hundreds of hours of surveillance on suspected gang members and determined they were involved in a large-scale marijuana distribution operation.

“These individuals weren’t just involved in drug trafficking—they’re violent gang members suspected in numerous shootings across our area,” said East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff Sid Gautreaux. “Their disregard for human life and community safety is exactly why they were targeted.”

During the investigation, alleged gang members were involved in a police pursuit in Texas. During the chase, suspects threw a pistol equipped with a machine gun conversion device, commonly known as a “switch”, out of a vehicle window.

Kind of surprised 2 of them are in their 40s. That's essentially the equivalent of 90 years old for a gangbanger.

4 doors instead of 2. It takes longer to climb out and scatter from the back seat of a 2 door. Also easier to shoot a Draco out the back window of a 4 door.

Also need the 4 door for church on Sunday mornin'

How could they stop it… people printing them at home now or paying someone who work around a 3D computer to do it… pressure going to have be put on Glock to make their firearms “un-modifiedable”

What about Da Bleedas? I guess the BRPD has chosen sides in the gang war, and are focused on bringing down the Vultures.
