The Marlins should be contracted. If the Rockies didn’t draw so well at home, they should be, too.

Can you blame them? I wouldn't have gone either, there would have been more people there if they weren't playing the shite Rockeys.

The # of franchises averaging considerably worse attendance and spending less on payroll than the Rockies is closer to double digits

Their failure is unique because they do actually give a little bit of a shite

The opportunity to watch a rare home sweep would be its own draw

I think the two teams had better rosters after the expansion draft than they do now

It’s a great place to watch a ballgame. I’ve been to 25 of the current ballparks, and the new Miami ballpark is great.

Jeff Loria needs to die a slow and miserable death

And that’s why I said if they didn’t draw well, they should be contracted. My contraction point where the Rockies are concerned is solely based on wins and losses. They actually draw in Denver and the front office seems to care but just be inept.

I actually think that would be a pretty fun way to watch a game No lines, can get up and watch from a different section every half inning or so. Chances of getting a foul ball are WAY up. Not how I'd want to watch every game, but it'd be cool to experience as a one off.

Every now and then we have a thread on here wondering if New Orleans could get a MLB team. There is always some posters saying we wouldn’t have fan support. We could beat this I’m sure

All they need is tik tok dances, flaming bats, and relentless social media pressure not to miss out.

LSU, State, Arkansas and Ole Miss are pretty damn close to the average attendance number for the marlins and A’s. More than the rays but they are in a temp stadium

yeah the teams both suck but it is still hard to believe that Miami draws so poor.

It is a nice stadium in a very populated area with a huge hispanic community that loves baseball.

Seems like they would be a huge draw.

League needs to contract by about 4-5 teams. Product is so diluted.
