Seems like a little bit of chicken, a little bit of egg here and then you get into a vicious cycle.
I mean you have a group that gives you more and more points for being a victim. It attracts the mentally unstable because they put them on a pedestal and then you get more validation the more victimized you are. Why Nate Silver is surprised by this is a bit silly.

This is consistently proven. The rate of mental illness is quite high among liberals, especially the screaming ones.
This also holds out in appearance. You can look at someone and more frequently than not tell if they are liberal or conservative.
People who take care of themselves tend to be conservative. Those who smile and are relaxed are conservative.
The ones with purple hair, the disaffected, the ones with mental health issues, the ones who never fit in anywhere terms to be liberal.
It is all intertwined. If someone is in good shape and takes care on themselves the more likely they are to be conservative.
The fat, our of shape, unhappy ones who have no group outside of there lgbtqia group are nemesis ill.
It's pretty much just realized as truth at this point.

Or maybe they currently have better mental health than they had before. Do you expect someone who was depressed a year ago to have to answer they currently have poor mental health if asked? No change in your worldview can change mental health?

They very well could have changed. I don't believe I insinuated they couldn't. Do you know when the study was completed that was referenced in the image, which allows you take make this argument?

What argument am I making? The one you conceded that says people can change? Or that this subset of people you are asking about might have better mental health after being "redpilled" compared to before?
What data are you thinking this study may have gathered that would validate this possibility I mentioned? You think they asked for a history or their mental health as well as the date they would say they were "redpilled" (i bet that can be scientifically measured).
I hate to break it to you but if you want this study of post and pre redpill mental health, you are going to have to do it yourself. Seems a bit ridiculous to expect they asked that

Yep. The Dims, along with MSM (their propaganda arm), have been pushing the narrative that the mentally ill’s perversions and deranged views of society are normal, all for political purposes. Problem is positions within the Dim party are now occupied by many of these sick individuals and the remainder of the mentally stable population is seeing how sick the Dim party has become

Sat next to a teacher tonight at the bar that did not stop talking about all the psychological issues that "her" kids had and how she was doing her best to guide them to understanding it was ok. I think I heard at least 30 different types of mental illness. I'm thinking that if you looked, the whole left is mentally ill thing would be clustered among white college educated leftist. It's how they can claim a bit of victim culture for themselves.
