I look for Jay to make some pretty big changes with the lineup tonight.

I also think he starts Reeves at 3rd.

I look for Pearson to get a start too, loves him in clutch moments.

We have 4 years of data saying he is a .230 hitter. That’s who you are hoping saves the season? That’s one example of this team’s problem.

With RISP, Pearson batted .083 with SEC games and .212 overall. You guys can call him clutch all you want, it doesn’t make it true.

Clutch BA with RISP (overall)
.426 Frey
.377 Brown

I’d have Dickinson 2nd. Bear to 4th with Jake Brown and Milam behind him. Frey 3rd.

Didn’t say I approve.

Jay goes to him in tight spots. Like it or not, I look for Jay to go to him tonight.

Slide Bears arse to the bench. Jay will bench everyone else pretty much but him. He definitely doesn’t give us the best chance to win currently.

I wish they had let him work in some at 1B this season.

Agree the lineup needs to be shaken up.

I’m not saying he’s a great hitter, but he has saved a national championship season once before… he should probably start if Little Rock is starting a lefty then immediately get pulled when they bring in a righty.

.262 career
.295 2025 (Brown hitting .312)

Pearson has a better OBP and OPS than Brown.

Very similar stats really.... Pearson has been HBP 14x this year/

It will never happen, but Brown at 1B and Larson in LF would not make me mad.

Spot on.........I have been saying this all year and now with "Bear" struggling at the plate, it would really have helped. I am afraid he will be one of the first Tigers in the transfer portal, and that would be a huge loss.

I don’t think bear could get a hit off a Kappa Sig slow pitch softball pitcher right now
