Thoughts on the Buffy reboot

I will watch, but I lost interest in the Buffy character when she became a submissive sloot for Spike, getting banged from behind in a bar and anywhere he wanted.

Don't see how it works without Whedon. Seems like a real POS, but that original show was in his voice more than anyone else. Felt like it took a step back when he left.

Little interest, aside from how wrecked the show will be.
No Joss, no Michelle Trachtenberg, no Nicholas Brendon... I see no reason whatsoever this show needs to be made.

"with cast"? Where? There's one photo of the original show cast from over 20 years ago.
Who has shown interest in coming back?
Michelle Trachtenberg - RIP
Nicholas Brendon - wanted criminal
Alyson Hannigan - ?
David Boreanez- ?
James Marsters - ?
Anthony Stewart Head - ?
Other than 2-3 exec producers, I don't see even any writers coming back either. They were the real gems of the show.
Any original cast member who DOES come back, I can't imagine it would be more for a cameo or 1 episode appearance. Buffy's story has been told.

It is one of my all-time gulity pleasures.
I've rewatched the entire series multiple times. SMG was a smoking hot tramp, and I loved her.
I'll watch. Maybe they could put Buffy in the role of Giles as the slayers mentor.

I was a huge fan of the original, but I don't how much juice is left. And I don't know if I want to watch a 48-year-old Sarah Michelle Geller fighting vampires.

Dunno if they will use this part of the story line or not, but based on they way they ended it Vamps should be extinct by now. I always wondered how one slayer in one town kept the world safe from them.
