2017 was the last time LSU softball was in the CWS. How is it that she has such great job security?

Because she’s been pretty successful minus the WCWS. But the past few years have not been up to standard so I think she’s on the hot seat going into next year.

That would not be as bad had she not gone to 4 in her first 6 years.
But she did so I honestly don't see how you cannot call that regression and falling behind several teams you were above back then.

Apparently nobody cares about Mens Basketball or Women's Softball. They aren't a big priority for this athletic department going forward.

at lunch today they had the college world series on. In 45 minutes I saw no fewer than ten errors. They can't hit, they can't throw, they play like girls.....it's unwatchable. So no one cares - I don't think that coach should make more than 100K a year. I'd take it for that. And you'd have a better product. Because I'd drill the hell out of them.

Texas Tech drops $1M to get best pitcher in softball to transfer to Lubbock and now in Oklahoma City World Series with a 50-12 record; probably win it all. Oklahoma ace pitcher transferred from UL; also in World Series.

CBT is a good sometimes great recruiter and pitching coach, her players love her and her family atmosphere she creates for her teams, I’ll admit it is frustrating what her/coaching staff not be able to develop players better to get team over the hump and back to WCWS, but she is one of the better coaches in softball whether we can all agree or not, most just don’t like her because seems the program is in a decline, but this team was young and got needed the experience, so lets support CBT and LSU softball until admin makes a change and stop bashing her, that only hurts program recruiting efforts

Because all the coaches that have been to more than 1 since 2017 coach for better programs historically.

I'll start offby saying I wish Scott would move on but it's hard to fine a coach that wins year in year out. I think think you can fire her because the team didn't wake it to the World Series. This is her wintotal last 10 seasons 52,50,48,45,44,21-3(covud),37,34,45,and 41.. I wish the program would move on nut I don't think she done enough to get fired if they do fire her could they hire someone better To be honest I don't know the answer to that question. I've been a coach/AD for over 30 yrs iScott is in a damn if you do dn if you don't situation. People on TD amaze me on firing coaches. shite if it was up to some of the fruitloops on Hershey would want to fire God if he got beat.

I am not a fan of softball or Tirina but i do pull for LSU in all sports. Do we get rid of the players that had their asses handed to them also?
