Despite our best efforts, we've found ourselves a season high 4 games above .500. Joe's boys are "hot". Insiders are saying this could be a spring board run toward the post season. Lets see how it plays out.

Dana Brown said Luis Garcia is expected to be back in rotation late July or early August. Did not specify 2025 or 2026

Rather than sending frickface out there, why not just run Chas back out in left field and Altuve at second?

Not sure why we need to continue the Rodgers experiment

Yup, but also alternatively:

what is the need to give Yainer ANOTHER rest day? He caught last night so DH him today, play ZDZ in LF and Altuve at 2B.

He didn’t play Saturday, off day Monday, now sitting him again. And he’s actually putting up some good ABs lately. I guess scoring two runs last night was too hard on the legs.

A trip down memory lane:

May 2023 Luis Garcia Tommy John
June 2023 LMJ every elbow surgery imaginable
January 2024 Kendall Graveman Right Shoulder Surgery
June 2024 Christian Javier Tommy John
June 2024 Jose Urquidy Tommy John
July 2024 JP France Tommy John
May 2025 Hayden Wesneski Tommy John
May 2025 Ronel Blanco Tommy John

At what point does Crane or Brown see this and say, "we might have a problem with our training staff or medical team?"

It is a baseball wide problem. We are getting slammed now but had very little attrition from elbow injuries during the 2021-22 timeframe and won a championship on the back of it. I think our training staff has their issues but this is hardly exclusive to us

11 pitches in 1st for LMJ. Solid start.

ETA: 23 pitches and 4 strikeouts through 2. Getting a ton of chase out of the zone.

Starting to get the feel of his offspeed the more he throws

I expect an elite start sometime in June to get everyone hyped only to have an injury 10 days later

I'm not holding my breath for an elite outing anytime soon bc he has yet to face a team with above average bats. Just need him to give 4-5IP without totally imploding

Man this good to see. Shitty A's or not. He's spotting edges with his fastball and getting chase with his slider.

Looks like he has more control than previous outings. Not sure if it's growth or the A's factor. Maybe both. Either way happy to see it

ETA: as a 2-out 2-strike double is hit for an RBI. Good relay though

ETA again: another 2-out double. His junk is hanging (lol). This was the implosion I was referencing
